This fall The Little French Bakery will be returning to Paris, July 16-23, 2017 and October 22-29, 2017

I'm especially excited because I've got several new places to find and explore. I hope you'll join me. Paris just announced "the 2016 best baguettes in Paris". The boulangerie at 48 rue Madame will be on my list of stops. In addition, there will be several other food tours and stops through our week in Paris.

Where will we be staying?

Introducing the Madeleine Plaza Hotel

Location, location, location! We're staying at the Madeleine Plaza Hotel on the Place de la Madeleine. I LOVE the location. I've stayed there many times. We're steps away Fauchon, LaDuree, Maille Mustarde, Truffle shops, and more. The Madeleine is a 4* hotel, yet has only 40 rooms and a quaint boutique style. It's my favorite hotel and I'm looking forward returning.

Just around the corner from the hotel is the Metro with access to 3 lines providing fast, easy transportation around the city in your free time. The tour includes an unlimited 5 day Metro Pass, so you'll be set to go.

On foot, you're about 10 minutes away from the Musee Louvre, Musee L'Orangerie, and Place de le Concorde. And... the Grand Magasins or Department Stores. Just window shopping is a treat! But who want to window shop?

One of my favorite things to do in Paris is to find a seat in a cafe and watch the world go by. Right next to the Madeleine Hotel is Cafe Madeleine. Open early & late, it's often a mid afternoon meeting spot for members of of group to share tales of the day and enjoy a glass of wine or beer.

If you're wondering which arrondissement, it's in the 8th. On the Right Bank.
